Does Lady Luck have a name?
I bet so, though I have my doubt..
Therefore I choose to keep on gambling,
to fuck around until I find it out.

For all is fair in love and war
and blackjack and poker.
By day I am a Jack of all trades,
By night I am a King of all jokers.

They say the odds are stacked against me,
that the game is rigged,
and that the house is always bound to win.
But I don’t listen to their cautionary tales,
in disregard of their advice I go all in.

For when one ventures nothing,
what is there to gain?
In other words,
only courageous men who dare to risk it all
are men who get to drink champagne.

Above all else, however,
Lady Fortune favors men who forge their own.
For every fruit of labor reaped
once had to be a seed of aspirations sown.
And though she goes by many names,
like fortune, luck, and fate,
one fact about her is well known…

Although the heat of her heart may be fickle..
Always sharp and ready for the reaping is her sickle.
