Poem 602

If only that
you had the eyes
to see.
The depth of
nothingness
in you
that lives
inside of me.

Coloring
inside the lines..
Another
picture perfect
paradise..
of two souls
who were never meant
to meet.
Because I am the winter’s
chill..
you are the summer’s
heat.

We fight
to love each other
more.
What pain is there
I wouldn’t bear
to revel
in this pleasure..
‘til my eyes
are sore.

From staring
into nothingness
of you
refracted
through the lens
of me.
The nothingness
to die for..
is the very
nothingness
by which
I breathe.
