In life, I’ve learned to read between the lines.
Respect opinions that others hold.
To tell apart the truth from wishful lies.
To love my neighbor though I have no Lord.
So as my soul draws closer to the light,
Blinded by fear, in blinding fear I find
A piece of comfort - nobody was right.
In death, a sliver of a peace of mind.
And then it’s over, but a moment past.
I don't exist for an eternity.
No matter what you read or how you fast,
In death, we all will find fraternity.
A panacea for dogmatic strife.
Too bad it cannot be applied in life. (OG image creds go to Becca, I just made it black and white and edgy)
