What better way
is there to greet
The Fifth One,
known as Death..
If not by drawing
cards..
out of my trusty
Tarot deck.

If not by
letting fates
determine
words for me
to fit within
this shimmering
free verse.

When much remains
uncertain..
it is best to let
uncertainty
chart out its path..
and set our course.

But if we disagree
with fates together..
then it means
we knew the answer
in our hearts already..
all along.
