Thrice-Greatest
Hermes..
Why did The Shepherd
of my people, Moses..
through Lord Almighty’s
miracles,
bring horrid terrors..
upon the captor
of his tribe..
The Pharaoh?

It was to show us,
people living
in the world today..
That not all hearts
have the capacity..
for holding faith.

The Pharaoh
was The Lion..
for, no miracle
that he would
witness
with his pair
of seeing eyes..
could ever make
The Eye
within his heart
perceive
The Other Side.

Quite
on the contrary,
his heart
would harden
further still
with doubt.
How could one
ever hope to
shed a light..
Upon The One
who chooses to remain
in The Egyptian Dark?
The Dark from which
The Child of present times
is tasked by God..
to lead his people out.
