Within his eye
is a reflection
of a path not taken.
Whether it truly were
for our best..
or if we were, in fact,
sorely mistaken.
Unlike The Eye of God,
The Eye of man
can never truly discern..
his duty is to reap
whichever fruits that grow..
out of the seeds
that once upon
a blood red moon
he blindly chose to sow.
A true God’s man,
however, also differs
from a reckless boy..
in that the fruits
he cultivated lovingly,
but never got to reap..
nevertheless,
he never greedily
destroys.
He leaves them be
for reaping by the sickle
of another man..
upon another day.
Because free giving
of the purest love
is never done in vain.
The Eye of man,
who’s pure of heart,
sees God
in all His many children.
Not only by The One
he tended to with love..
or by another man,
whose sickle reaped..
But also by
Almighty God Himself
man’s freely given love
is always
gracefully received.
