What is The Highest Priestess
known for best?
She is best known
for her most sacred duty..
And her most sacred duty..
is, indeed, to hold the key.
“The key to what?”
I hear you wonder,
so impatiently.

That is a truth
that only her beloved
sacrificial lamb
would generally have
the privilege to see.
But for the old time’s sake
of all my lovely muses,
fellow reapers,
kin and tribe,
and all the rest..
I humbly volunteer,
sincerely yours truly,
Me. The Poet.
Why me?
Well, can’t you tell?
Because I love you all.
Indeed, I love you all
too well.

The Highest Priestess
holds the key..
To opening The Eye
of your heart.
The key to stilling
all your reasoned
and mundanely
subjugated thoughts..
So you may finally
re-incarnate
as flesh eternal..
Stillest matter
of The Elder Gods.

My heart now lays
upon the scale
of all my virtues
and all my sins.
She turns the key..
The door unlocks.
May the profane
and wicked
bleeding ritual
begin.
