Part II - To Pull The Thread

building of closeness
is a complex process..
there is a time to push
towards each other..
and a time to stray.
when passion’s heat
runs high,
the two are drawn
into each other
recklessly..
they get too close
for comfort..
and then they are
repelled away.

when lovers stray
the thread of fates
that binds their hearts
is tightened more..
the further that
they choose to pull away.
the more two lovers
stray from one another..
the heavier becomes
the weight of their
love-sickness pain.

it is made evident
to both of them
that crucial pieces
of their puzzle
are now missing.
so critical..
and yet oh.. so.. ineffable
to outright proclaim.
they try to find those pieces
in their lovers on the side..
and yet their efforts
ultimately are in vain.
