two lovers
are attracted
to each other..
through weight
of mutually
held belief..
it is the silent gravity
that psychically binds..
to love each other
thru the hardship
and the pain
and grief.
to be forgiven
freely.. freely
to forgive.
to find a peace
in one another..
and in that peace
to live.

back to one another
for two lovers..
threads of fate
illuminate the way.
but in the end
it is the lovers
who decide
conclusively..
whether or not
to cut the thread
and leave..
or ride it out
and stay.

or whether to
emotionally torment
one another
needlessly..
all night and day.
what can I say..
some people
(I won’t point them out)
are quite the tasters
for this sado-masochistic
flavor of heart pain.
