Poem 21

I have a fundamental need for order,
For mind’s flows to be constrained by the will,
For seamless conversion of the potential into the manifested.
But the pattern is noisy.
And yet, even noise seems preferable to silence.
Harmony is not a matter of rigid proportions.
In truth, it is a function of familiarity,
So I can learn to hear the music in these frequencies,
Which was initially obscured from me by dissonance.
Before silence consumes everything.
