Part III - The Virtue of a Child

The camel’s virtue..
lies in his capacity
to hold weight..
which he is laden with
by force of circumstance..
known to the blindly
seeing ones among us..
as the thread of fates.

The lion’s virtue..
lies in the firmness
with which
his boundaries
are held.
The boundaries
which he is sworn
to always
viciously protect.
He does
whatever that he must
in order to ensure
that they are always given
all their due respect.

The virtue of a child,
however, is to grow..
and to forgive..
and to accept.
It is to hold
not weight
nor boundaries..
but rather,
purest love itself.
And as the few of us
still capable of it
already know..
it is the highest
form of wealth
that anyone
could ever
wish for.
