Poem 129

what doth a famished serpent seek..
when it is out of fickle hearts
upon which it can feed?
how doth it find a means
to satisfy its most primordial
and sacred need?
to fill the belly of its demiurge,
where doth it find fulfillment
to its end?
who doth it prey on then
to satiate itself?

its very own beginning
is all that lies before its eyes..
who is the very first
misled by a deceiver’s lies?
who is the one that gives in
to temptations of a tempter..
before his very first attempt
to tempt another?
who is the son, the father,
and the holy spirit’s mother?

its very own end
is brought upon a force..
that brings upon
it’s very own beginning,
why, of course..
it feeds upon its tail..
and then upon its torso..
and then upon its head..

and then the origin..
the hunger which began
the act of feeding..
eliminates the demiurge
and, in so doing,
terminates the state of needing.
